Roof Replacement

A roof in the Inland Northwest lives a harder life than the same roof almost anywhere else: months under wet snow load, dozens of freeze-thaw cycles every winter, February melt-and-refreeze at the eaves, spring hail, and 95° summers baking the granules. The failures start at the eaves, in the valleys, and under the shingles, and that's where we build differently.

Asphalt shingle replacement. Full tear-off to the deck, rotted sheathing replaced, ice-and-water membrane run past code minimum at every eave and valley, synthetic underlayment, new flashing (never reused), and architectural shingles fastened to manufacturer spec. We mainly install Owens Corning Duration and Malarkey, but we work with every brand and roofing material; if you have a preference, we'll build it.

Metal roof replacement. We install every residential metal system: standing-seam metal roofing (concealed fastener, snap-lock or mechanically seamed), exposed-fastener corrugated and ribbed panels, stone-coated steel roofing (shingle, shake, and tile profiles), and metal shingles. Metal sheds snow, shrugs off hail, and lasts 40 to 60 years. Installed over a prepared deck with high-temp underlayment and snow retention where it's needed.

Commercial & flat roofs. TPO and torch-down membrane systems for apartments, shops, storefronts, and low-slope additions. We've completed 200+ squares across four apartment buildings in under a month.

Roof Cleaning & Roof Rejuvenation

Not every aging roof needs replacing. If your shingles are sound but mossy or drying out, a Roof Doctor visit adds years of life for a fraction of the cost of a new roof.

Moss removal done right. We physically remove 100% of the moss, not just soft-wash the top of it. Then we apply a treatment that raises the pH of the roof surface so moss, algae, and lichen can't re-establish. It's non-toxic, safe for pets, plants, pools, and siding, and you don't need to be home.

Roof rejuvenation treatment. Asphalt shingles fail when the oils that keep them flexible dry out; then they crack, curl, and shed granules. Rejuvenation treatment restores that flexibility to a mid-life roof and can buy five or more years. We'll be honest about the limits: it doesn't fix missing ice-and-water membrane or bad ventilation, and it doesn't reset your roof's age with your insurance company. Whether your roof is fine is no longer only your call. The difference is a compacted base, proper thickness and reinforcement, air-entrained mix rated for our winters, control joints where they belong, and a cure that isn't rushed.
